I went to the Grocery Store this week with some colleagues; as we were cruising the isles, we noticed all the different companies that produce the food you buy every day. Take the beverage industry for instance; at the Grocery store alone there was over 20+ different brands that make soft drinks! That’s huge!
Just think of all the potential companies Palmetto Adhesives could work with to produce the adhesives for their bottles and packaging. Its amazing…..and endless!
Okay, so we have our work cut out for us, but we can do it! Lets take control of the Grocery Stores and become the top adhesive producer for bottle labeling and food packaging!

I recently went on a few Sales calls with our Eastern Sales Manager, Richard. We had a great time, I was able to tour most all plants we went into. It is so interesting to see our glue on the customers product and how they use it.
At a plant in Charlotte we saw our adhesives being used on cartons that contained Italian Ice. The next day at a packaging plant just right outside of Charlotte we were able to see our adhesives being used for Card-board packages that contained Olive Oils. We saw so many customers and we thank you all for showing us around!
Adhesives are AMAZING and my friend Richard is GREAT! Thanks for taking me with you on business!!!!

I recently went to visit my friends over at Sunpaper Company in Duncan, South Carolina. I took a tour of their Paper Product Manufacturing Plant and it sure was interesting. Did you know.………………………….. there are 4 different types of glue in 1 roll of toilet paper or roll of paper towels?
IT’S TRUE!!!!!!! Here is how it works; one type of glue, glues the card boards forming the roll together, then a second glue holds the two thin pieces of tissue together, then the third glue holds the tissue to the card board roll, and the fourth glue holds the top tissues together. Can you believe that?
WOW, GLUE IS REALLY COOL!
